This year I will be joining my mom on her mission trip with Extra Mile Pediatrics. We will be traveling to El Salvador in April. As a group we will be doing 5 clinic days, where we will focus on prevention and education. Each child will get treated with anti parasitic medications and will be given vitamins as needed. On this mission trip I will be assisting with registration and check in, heights and weights, and helping with the flow of the clinic. I've listened and seen pictures of my moms experience over the years and the opportunity has presented itself to me to participate. I am looking forward to seeing the world from a different perspective. I also look forward to learning about their culture and bettering my Spanish speaking. And who knows maybe this will be my calling in life!
