I finally got another chance to be part of a group that works towards making this world better, just one little step at a time.
People that know me, will for sure understand the "one little step at a time". I might be small physically, but I'm always working on making my biggest impact in this world.
I will never forget once upon a time, I found myself in a stage, in front of a few 200 pairs of eyes, with a microphone in hand a question to answer. What will you want to do with the rest of your life?. That was the prompt given to me after returning from a very intense retreat at the young age of 17.
My answer was quick, sounded impulsive and to sure of myself. Thinking of my statement almost 30 years later, I still think that was the brightest moments in my life. Because, I still believe I can change the world, one little step at time, as part of a team that does the same thing as me. Because together, one grain at a time, we can build a mountain.
With your help, and together we can elevate the lives of the less fortunate. Together, we can make this world better, one smile at time, one hug a time, one little hand (in my case, literally) a time.
This is not my first trip of the sorts, although it's been a long time. My heart fills with just the thought of getting another chance.
