Join me in supporting real change. EVERY DOLLAR that you donate goes directly to the execution of our mission in Central America. There are no paid employees. Extra Mile Pediatrics is a 501(c)3 nonprofit. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
I will be traveling to Guatemala in January 2022 to provide medical care to children. Most of the time these children have never seen a physician and lack access to care. What is AWESOME about this organization is its sustainability- they are committed to returning to the same communities over time to ensure that the impact that we have has lasting positive effects.
Specific things we will be doing:
1. Well child checks (growth, development, health education for prevention)
2. Provide multivitamins to most or all of the children that we see
3. Administer anti-parasitic medicines to most children seen
4. Includes a pharmacy built to treat acute issues and address chronic illnesses/ concerns
